Here's my Nintendo Entertainment System. It's more complex than the standard (aka French suit) Western cards and has fewer associated games. I want to design more.
Trivia: Nintendo bona fide got its start making these cards. Gambling dens, many run by gangsters, needed a constant stream of sealed decks, so it was good money for Nintendo.
The common hanafuda games are about making high-scoring sets. In Japanese the singular for one of these winning combinations is "yaku", plural "yakuza."
@b I had to think really hard to convince myself not to get one at the Nintendo Store in NYC. Such an interesting start for the company it is today, though.
