Keep talking, Christine. We’re listening, and we believe you.
Spent the last several days designing a potions book for a Halloween party.

📱 The new iPhone Xs: is it pronounced “excess” or “tennis?”
Making Pumpkin Juice, just as any normal adult would on a Tuesday afternoon.
Trying to remember how to use git in the command prompt and dusting the mental cobwebs off my limited coding knowledge for a Harry Potter Halloween Party project.
In Iceland, there was volcanic event in 2010 where there was ash covering a glacier “many meters thick.” It was black for a whole year and there was a huge ash cloud.
It affected many farmers and their animals, many who had a fatal case of black lung because of all the ash.
Hopefully tonight is the night I’m destined to see the Northern Lights for the first time.
Last year during Iceland’s ice cream festival, where there’s often new flavors introduced, they had a special new ice cream made from human breast milk.
People were livid.
....because it’s totally fine to drink/eat milk from other species, taking it from their own children, but drinking/eating milk from our own species is disgusting!
Interesting observations about Iceland:
1. Impossible to get decaf espresso or even decaf coffee
2. 60s, 70s, and 80s music is playing everywhere. The most recent song I heard was Alanis Morissette from the mid 90s
3. There are no Starbucks!! (This should’ve been at #1!!)
Oh, you know — just making nonsensical magickal sigils on the laser cutter. Just normal stuff that normal human adults often do, honestly.

The word "valid" has two years, tops, before it's coopted by right wing nerds and turned into a bad thing ala "trigger", so please use it excessively to affirm your friends and their feelings now before it is too late and we lose more valid vocabulary to bad faith internet losers.

> The opposite of grimdark is hopepunk
Hopepunk says that genuinely and sincerely caring about something, anything, requires bravery and strength. Hopepunk isn’t ever about submission or acceptance: It’s about standing up and fighting for what you believe in. It’s about DEMANDING a better, kinder world, and truly believing that we can get there if we care about each other as hard as we possibly can, with every drop of power in our little hearts.
