I deleted my Facebook account years ago and have never regretted it, but I do regret ditching Twitter a few months ago (I deleted all my tweets and don't post anymore, but kept my account around and still read occasionally).

It still feels like a morally sound decision, but I don't think Mastodon has quite filled that niche. I miss the people I used to talk to on there. I'm trying to figure out a good way to split the difference


update: I decided I'd just start posting over there again, but…less

@danbruno That is where I am at, too. Continuing to post to Twitter and engage with people there... but at a reduced rate - and while encouraging people to move over here to Mastodon. (And posting more over here.)
