So I grow orchids, too. Here’s the bloom of an orchid I bought in an airport three years ago.

A cattleya orchid flower, pink and yellow. It’s very delicate.

I grew orchids years ago. Then a paphiopedilum that took me months to find died on me and I decided I didn't have the temperament for it.

Hard, but so pretty!
I can't quite remember what mine looked like, but I can easily conjure the memory of seeing one in an orchid guide for the first time. The bubblegum orchid.

(It was a whole Nero Wolfe thing for me.)
