Every so often I need to do some small maintenance tasks on my personal web services (restart a process, update an ENV variable) and the best thing I've done is purchase Prompt 3 for iOS to keep it on my phone and iPad.
Makes it so much easier to do it on the go or while I'm working!
And yes, this is me showing my whole ass on the internet and admitting that – for some reason I haven't figured out – I need to restart my Rails app every 2-4 weeks because sessions break randomly and prevent me from using my own website.
I should really put some time into fixing that...
